Each webcam site operates slightly differently and has different rules. Below are some general tips to help you earn more on cam. However check your webcam site for their rules to determine what you can and cannot do.
1. Make an effort and dress up in sexy clothes.
2. Wear makeup. Make yourself look good.
3. Make sure that you have good lighting in your room so that customers can see you clearly.
4. Invest in a good cam with good clear image quality. If you can afford it get a remote controlled cam. The investment in a good cam will pay off quickly.
5. Have a good fast internet connection. Slow or interrupted images will put customers off.
6. Make sure your room is clean and tidy. A messy room can be unattractive and off putting to customers.
7. Personalise your profile with pictures videos and other information.
8. Talk on cam rather than type as much as possible.
9. Don’t stay in one position for longer than 30 seconds or so. Move around and engaged customers watching your cam.
10. Always stay positive and happy on cam. Smile as much as you can and keep a playful atmosphere in the room.
11. Try not to say “no” in chat rooms. Try and be creative with a yes answer which is really a no. The idea is to try and get them into private chat you can then sort out the details there.
12. Most websites will rank your webcam. Some let you know what it is others keep it hidden. This is usually based on how successful you are and includes factors such as customer ratings and earnings. The higher your webcam score the closer you will appear at the top of page 1 (and easier for customers to find you).
13. Most money can be made performing in free chat for tips. A successful way of getting good tips is setting a total tip amount for different activities e.g.200 tokens to go topless, 400 tokens to go naked etc. You will end up getting a lot more than this in other tips. Some models do very well just performing for free without setting token amounts for activities and find the tips just come naturally and do very well this way. A lot of webcam sites do not let you perform in free chat. Check the rules of the site to find out if you can do this on your site.
14. Don’t beg are or ask for tips as this rarely works well. If no tips are coming you could ask for some “appreciation.” Often you will find those that are tipping will put pressure on those that are not tipping to contribute without your involvement.
15. Always thank by name anyone who tips.
16. Some webcam sites let you see which customers have money on their account and also allows you to see the history of who has tipped you and for how much. Focus on these customers. You can also add these to your friend list and see when they are on or off line and send them private messages.
17. In private chat try and get the customers real name and use it as often as possible. This makes it a much more personal experience. This will make them feel closer to you and more likely to come back again. It is a physiological fact that the more you use some ones name the closer they feel to you.
18. In private chat if you run out of things to say moan and groan. Customers love to hear things like “fuck me harder” etc etc
